ADULT SOFTBALL

Spring programs are offered for Adult Open, Church and Industrial Softball Leagues. Registration begins in March. Details for the 2012 season TBA. Contact Angie Stokes, Athletic Supervisor for more info.

ADULT BASKETBALL

The following leagues are offered: Men's 40 and Over (3 on 3); Men's Open and Men's Industrial. These leagues offer opportunities for GRPA District and State Championship play. Season Registration packets and details for the 2011/2012 season coming soon!

Note: Men's 40 and Over (3 on 3) Registration Packets will be available October 3rd. This season will run from November through January!

New this season! Men's 50 and Over Open Play! Saturday mornings from 9:00am to 10:00am beginning in November at Griffin City Park! Play 3 on 3 or full court...players choice! This will be available and open to the public November through January.

If open play is your game opportunities are available as schedules allow at City Park, Fairmont and AMBUCS Gymnasiums.

Adult Special Olympics
"Let me win, but if I cannot win let me be brave in the attempt"

Spalding County Parks and Recreation offers adults with special needs the opportunity to compete in local, district, and State Special Olympics!

The Special Olympic Bowling season in Spalding County begins in September and runs through March. Participants bowl weekly at Magnolia Lanes in Griffin on Thursday afternoons. Unified Partners help complete the teams which are established at the beginning of the season. There is no membership fee, just a weekly bowling fee.
