Spalding County Parks and Recreation

Spalding County Parks and Recreation offers affordable men and women league team sports. Teams play locally and can advance into post season play with District and State tournament opportunities. Spalding County Teams continue to be a force to be reckoned with at GRPA District and State Tournaments!

Winter season offers Open and Industrial and 30 and Over Leagues
Team registration begins in November for Open and Industrial Leagues and October for 30 and Over League.

Adult Special Olympics

Spalding County Parks and Recreation offers adults with special needs the opportunity to compete in local, district, and State Special Olympics!

The Special Olympic Bowling season in Spalding County begins in September and runs through March. Participants bowl weekly at Magnolia Lanes in Griffin on Thursday afternoons. Unified Partners help complete the teams which are established at the beginning of the season. There is no membership fee, just a weekly bowling fee.
