Ballet
Spalding County Parks
and Recreation is happy to announce the return of Ballet Classes to
City Park Community Center. The class is taught by Katy
Morgan. Katy received her early training with Ruth Mitchell
Dance Theatre in Atlanta. She also studied on a full
scholarship at the Joffery in New York for two years. She
taught and performed with the Griffin Ballet for six years.
She currently teaches at Newnan School of Dance and is the Director
of the Ballet program for Dance Contepra in PTC. Although she
is retired from performing she continues to teach and inspire
children and adults with the love of dance and is looking forward to
teaching back in Griffin again.
Classes will be held on Saturday mornings starting late summer.
