Airport Road Park is one of the most widely used parks in the Spalding County Parks system. It features a half mile rubberized walking trail and a large play structure designed for children ages 2 to 12. The park offers a handicap accessible play area, fitness stretching stations, picnic tables and benches. Children especially enjoy climbing on the free standing dinosaurs!

The holiday season is kicked off each year with the Festival of Lights holiday event at Airport Road Park. The park is transformed into a winter wonderland with fun activities for children and Santa always makes an appearance just to see each child and hear their holiday wishes. The parks spectacular light displays can be enjoyed throughout the holiday season.
