In 1968 the Griffin Chapter of AMBUCS (American Business Clubs of America) saw the need to build a recreation complex that was accessible to all citizens. With property donated by Dundee Mills they built a park known today as AMBUCS Park.

The park features a recreation gymnasium; a handicap accessible playground; tot lot playground; 5 baseball fields; a batting cage; picnic pavilion; concessions and restrooms.
