Dundee LakeFishing is an excellent way to unwind, relax and de-stress and it's an activity that the whole family can enjoy together! Take time to enjoy any of the following venues and opportunities!

DUNDEE LAKE PARK
This park, located on Dundee Lake Rd. Griffin, offers a 28 acre fishing lake suitable for bank fishing or small, non-gas motor boats (electric only). No boat ramp is available so boats must be carried from parking area to the lake. Fishermen of all ages and skill levels can enjoy catching Bass, Catfish and Crappie. This park is open and fishing is allowed from 7am to dark.

KIDS FISHING RODEO
Kids ages 5 to 12 look forward to the annual Kids Fishing Rodeos held in the Spring and the Fall!

Kids do the fishing at these favorite events hosted at Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park Lake. This lake is a special event fishing lake only and is not open to the public for general fishing.

Spring Kids Fishing Rodeo:   Saturday, June 23, 2012  8:30 to 11:30

Trophy awarded for the biggest fish caught in 2 age categories: 5-8 and 9-12

Registration begins May 21, 2012 

Must register in person and meet age requirement
*Space is limited due to the size of the lake.

Bring:
A good fishing pole; Bait; Fish Bucket or stringer and sunscreen

Fishing rules:
Have fun!
Child must be accompanied by an adult
Sorry no early arrivals!
Child must do the fishing.
Only one pole in the water per child registered
Fish caught by adults will be released

SENIOR ADULT FISHING EVENTS

May is Older American's Month and the Spalding County Senior Center hosts its annual Senior Fishing event in May at Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park Lake. Adults age 50 and over compete for the coveted trophy for the biggest fish caught! Other opportunities are available for adults to fish! These events fill up fast so call the Senior Center at 770-467-4384 to find out when registration begins!
